MrStarskyAmsterdam x Sella Molenaar
On March 5, MrStarskyAmsterdam launches two new starry sky posters in collaboration with Amsterdam-based fashion illustrator Sella Molenaar. MrStarskyAmsterdam celebrates the introduction of the newest design at the COCO-MAT store in Amsterdam. This design is the fifth member of the starry-sky poster collection and is a unique contribution to the growing family. For creating this new poster MrStarskyAmsterdam teams up with Amsterdam-based fashion illustrator Sella Molenaar.
MrStarskyAmsterdam x Sella Molenaar launch
Sella created two illustrations, both in which ‘connection’ are the central topic. She created two universal drawings that everyone can identify with. ‘Forever’ represents the bond between parent and child, ‘Together’ is symbolic for the precious bond between two people, e.g. lovers, friends, or family. ‘Together’ allows you to remember a first date, a wedding or any special memory with a friend. The gold foil used in the sky makes MrStarskyamsterdam x Sella Molenaar a truly special and luxurious member of the collection.

Drawing has always been a part of Sella Molenaar’s life and through the years she developed her own characteristic style. Her work is fluent, minimalistic and can be described as a spontaneous and intuitive interplay of lines. Imperfection is often the main subject in her designs.
